As part of the St. Louis County Library’s Phase 2 Master Plan, Brinkmann Constructors provided construction management services for the 17,500 SF renovation of the Bridgeton Trails branch. The newly remodeled library reopened on-time featuring new amenities including enhanced children’s area, an updated community meeting room, two private study rooms, in addition to new shelving, finishes, furniture and seating.
This was the first library branch in Phase 2 completed by the Brinkmann team and it is a testimony of our commitment to our client’s bottom-line. For example, when concerns of an added $50,000 to the budget came up to relocate a bore pit for the fire protection water line tap, the Brinkmann team sat down with the water company to discuss the issue and the water company determined the relocation was not necessary, thus saving the Library $50,000.
Brinkmann is continuing work on several other branches in the library system as part of the Phase 2 Master Plan.
